Fickle Sparrow Brings Back What’s Been Lost

Our vision is to provide products based on wholesome learning traditions and values and offer what has been lost due to screen time replacing hands-on mind stimulating activities.

We’re a team of mother, daughters, and a niece with a passion for encouraging a child’s imagination, their propensity towards kindness, and helping them discover and learn new things through the joy of simple play and creation. By channeling our love of artistry and handcrafting, and our combined experience gleaned from years of home schooling, classroom teaching, and education; Fickle Sparrow has unfolded into a small family owned business.

We embrace Christian beliefs and find joy in discovering others with religious and/or spiritual views that also uphold the intrinsic value of individuals and the pursuit of loving and serving our fellowman in kindness and respect; starting with the littlest of them all; the children.

Fickle Sparrow intentionally chooses to fully embrace individually skilled creators over AI digitally produced items. What we offer has been created by individuals with artistic and writing skills developed over years of learning and immersing themselves in their creative arts and spheres of various pursuits. We respect the right of others to believe differently or choose to use AI. It is simply our good opinion and belief that human artists and their work and creations inherently beget a value far beyond artificial production. FS encourages all to support fellow human beings over AI whenever possible.

Fickle Sparrow strives for practical and responsible practices in creating with both upcycled and new fabrics and haberdashery predominately sourced from local upcycling craft and sewing shops; shipping using minimal packaging and recyclable materials to the best of their ability and resources.
